weekend was burningman prep. inventory, shop, sort, pack... two days of that and i was sore and exhausted. it probably seems like less of a chore if you've been planning and looking forward to the event for a while, but our decision to go was relatively last minute, and i haven't really gotten excited about it yet. then i apparently ate something sunday night that made my innards decide to try to tie themselves in knots. no nausea or runs or anything, just pain. odd thing. this has mostly subsided now.
many folks have been posting about their prep, and some from brc even, so i'm beginning to get psyched up for it, though the two projects i have to finish at work before the end of the week are kind of getting in the way of my vacation daydreaming...
at any rate, i managed to get most of the gear and food ready, so now we just have get our personal stuff together. and run those last few shopping errands that didn't get done yet. before saturday, which will be full of wedding. then sunday we fetch the rv, pack up, and hit the road. with pld. who will have just gotten married the day before. when he'll find the time to pack, i cannot say!
for now, laundry. and contemplating what clothes to bring.
p.s. we'll be in the orbitals corner of fandango village, 8:00 and estuary.
