rooms at gvr were pretty posh. i describe it as the bellagio's country cousin: same sort of styling but a bit smaller. the grounds/pool area are very nice, and the spa is awesome. i'd like to go back when it's warm.
working for the french in france is probably great, but trying to get them to cooperate from here is a pain in the f-ing ass. G had to take calls at 3am two of our nights in vegas, and just last night somebody called at midnight to chew his ear off for half an hour over something they thought wasn't their responsibility, but that couldn't be clarified until this morning here. being responsible for two related projects that are halfway around the world from each other is teh suck. thankfully, they've hired someone in france who will be taking much of that load off of G when he gets up to speed. hopefully.
