reloaded

finally went and saw matrix reloaded last night at the imax in dublin. would have gone to the metreon tonight with the group but we thought we were going to be unable to make it. plans ended up changing, oh well. the movie was pretty entertaining. i agreed with those who said that some of the dance^Wfight scenes went on too long, but didn't really have any major complaints. it was fun to see on the big imax screen.

got my first actual job interview scheduled. part-time assistant to a financial planner in sf. (about 3 days/wk or the equivalent, she said.) will meet her on monday. that's good anyway.

tried to apply for the admin asst job at lyris (hoping ben could put in a good word for me), but i couldn't manage the cover letter they wanted.

"Write a cover letter that shows you have visited our website and understand what we do. (Resumes sent without this targeted cover letter will be ignored!) Please also include your personal definition of 'grace under pressure' and explain how you've applied it in real-life."

this really shouldn't be that hard. but somehow it feels like an insurmountable obstacle to me. sigh.

i really want to start looking at apartments, but i can't do that till i have a job.
