alcoholic amusements
had the office holiday lunch today at Liaison, two blocks from my apartment and we didn't have to go back to work afterwards, so i took full advantage of the free wine. all boozed up and nowhere to go though... stopped by the post office to see if they've dealt with my broken p.o. box yet, but no. i had only one piece of mail since i was there on monday, and it was the newsletter of COAP, Christian Outreach with Appalachian People, forwarded by my mother from her house. for some reason getting this piece of mail amused me highly. COAP is an organisation that i did a spring break community service thing with when i was in high school, went to harlan, kentucky, and helped clean out and rebuild homes of the less fortunate than thou. here i am kind of drunk and horny and confused about my feelings and i get this newsletter and it just made me laugh about my situation. life is funny.
