stuff. things.
Apr. 7th, 2006 09:44 pmso i finally got a myspace account, just because i figure why not be findable everywhere. i actually found somebody from high school there who is one of the few people i've been curious about. but i swear, it's almost as bad as friendster used to be. slow as hell, and i get errors almost every time i try to do anything. blah on that.
the time change has been surprisingly difficult for me this week. i've been super tired every morning; i guess my sleep schedule isn't quite as independent/mutable as i thought.
i'm getting serious with the exercise regime again, trying to get as much cardio in as i can in preparation for whitney. i know the time till the end of may will fly by in the blink of an eye... cardio/weights on mondays, spin class and hopefully climbing on tuesdays, cardio and belly dance/dance movement classes on wednesdays, cardio/weights/abs class on thursdays, and kickboxing class on fridays. man, if i kept this up and actually got my diet reigned in, i'd surely lose weight like crazy! unfortunately consistency tends to elude me. i'm having a lot of trouble being good about both exercise and diet at the same time, heh.
um, what else... my copyediting class ended, so no more school until fall at least. i got called in to do mahler 8; the chorus for that is enormous, so i think they pretty much ask everyone who's ever done it before to come in and supplement the regular choristers. it's interesting to be back, like i hadn't left at all, except for some new faces here and there. it makes me miss singing, but sfsc is such a huge time commitment, i don't really want to go back there right now. maybe i could do a very limited season though, hm.
i think i have enough on my plate until after burning man -- whitney, climbing, kayaking, and burning man prep. (yay summer! now will you get here already and stop with this godforsaken rain?!) -- so for now i'm just going to concentrate on my job at sonicrecruit and try to get things running as smoothly there as i can, then after burning man i plan to concentrate on trying to start getting copyediting work. then at some point i want to supplement that with voice-over work. ideally i'd like to eventually be completely freelance.
whee.
