another weekend come and gone

went to the banff film festival in berkeley on thurs and fri nights. saw lots of crazy.

saturday geoff had to work, and i searched the interwebs for ceramic cat figurines with very little success (i have a set of cute little kitties that i wanted to see if i could ebay, but they're probably worthless, especially since none of them are pristine, and some are broken and glued back together...) then we watched this film is not yet rated.

sunday we headed down to the pinnacles and climbed a little bit (one route on toprope rock). the weather was somewhat threatening in the morning, but it turned out lovely, and we enjoyed getting out for some hike/picnic/climb action. i forgot to put sunblock on my neck, to somewhat impressive effect. we also watched the first 5 episodes of weeds and snakes on a plane. i can't believe it took me this long to get around to watching weeds; it's some tasty!
