i would assume those numbers are for the average person who's not insulin resistant or any other metabolic wackiness, so ymmv... and yeah, i expect i'm having a not enough food in general problem possibly compounded by the amounts of specific types of nutrients. (i do think i'm eating the right amount of protein at least.)
also, i shake my fist at my husband who was able to go low carb and super low calorie and run every weekday for months and months and have no negative effects whatsoever. all he got was a 40 lb weight loss. grumble!
