i seem to recall seeing someone mention somewhere that there was a way to look at recent comments on your friends' entries. anybody know?

If there were a way to subscribe to your post, I could see if anyone eventually replies with a way to subscribe to your post.

You hit upon one of my chief complaints about lj.

I have a friends group which I scroll all the way through every day or two quickly scanning for fresh links. This relies on the journal setting Add &nc=xx to comment URLs on http://www.livejournal.com/editinfo.bml?authas=username — a horrible hack, but I guess it's better than nothing.
