hello, my lovely friends and acquaintances. you are all most gleefully invited to come celebrate halloween, the new abode of me and my beloved, and our engagement, all at the same fantabulous time!
when: saturday, october 28
time: 4pm until everyone falls over, then starting again in the morning
where: our new place in newark (email lilamp at livejournal dot com if you need the address)
several other informational items:
1. the party will take place in two stages. bbq will begin at around 4pm, then music and dancing and debauchery will follow. the less adventurous (or needing to be in bed early for whatever reason) partygoers are invited to come early and leave when their delicate sensibilities can no longer stomach the increasing levels of debauchery (or small humans demand bedtime, etc.)
2. geoff will have most of his audio set up, and there will be signups for deck time.
3. we have plenty of floorspace for crashing, and will provide mimosas and french toast in the morning.
4. our bar and finances have been taking somewhat of a beating, so donations are welcome. particularly, we encourage you to bring a bottle of your favorite 100% agave tequila if you'd like us to make margaritas.
5. please bring grillables and/or snackables to contribute!
6. costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.
