Wait, huh? I mean, the Whistler village is great and all, but I'm baffled at the concept of going to Whistler and not skiing or boarding. A mile of vertical! More mountain than you can shake a stick at! Cliffs you can go over the edge of!!
I almost was in Whistler this week - my friend organized a trip but I just couldn't afford the time or money. And I'm sad to be missing the great snow.
well, the main purpose of the trip was my company party, and i'm a pretty beginner skier. however, we did end up doing a half day, as the weather was quite gorgeous. as long as the sun is out and the wind isn't blowing, the cold is alright. sorry you missed the snow!
