1. Do you remember the first time you met me?
i _think_ it was at a party on the peninsula that i went to with evan... i don't really remember any details though, so i could be completely wrong. do you?
2. I actually have no idea what you do for a living. What do you do? :)
ha. um, i pretended to be a sysadmin for awhile after graduating from berkeley, since that's what everyone was doing at the time (1997), then i got tired of that after a few years and took some time off. i toyed with the idea of going to grad school for cognitive linguistics, took a class through uc extension and gave up on that when we got to the final paper and i kind of freaked out and took an incomplete. traveled some, came back and took a boring office job. got fired from boring office job, did some career soulsearching, decided i should become a freelance editor. started taking some editing classes, got another boring office job. currently trying to figure out how to transition from here to freelancing without going further into debt!
3. What is your favorite and least favorite thing about living in California?
i like that i'm surrounded by people with compatible politics, people freakier than me, and that there are people here who are into anything i can possibly imagine, and things i can't. i hate that housing is so expensive and that there isn't 24-hr public transporation around the entire bay area.
4. Is your hair still purple? Will it be purple for the wedding?
yup. it fluctuates between various shades of pink and blue, since i usually dye it with blue + pink-based purple, so that it fades to pink more slowly, but i'm lazy, so it usually ends up pink for a while. and yes, it will be purple for the wedding. it will match my blue and purple dress.
5. What movie do you absolutely hate? Rant a bit about it.
you know, i can't think of any. generally i don't see movies that i would hate! i will have to contemplate this one...
