of circles. working out contributes greatly to my mood. it is a necessity. lack of working out leads to me filling that void with comfort foods, making me feel like a lazy slug and diminishing my desire to get up off my fat ass. i had lost about ten pounds and was on track when my trainer left last year, then i totally fell off the wagon. i keep saying "next week! next week i'll start being good again!" and of course it just never happens, as there's always some excuse. i need to stop making excuses and make the gym a priority again. it is not optional; it is a _requirement_ for my mental health. unlike cheese.

Knowing and accepting that is the first step. You can do it! I have faith in you! I too have been a lazy sloth or lazy ass. I have forced myself to workout and eat better. I guess looking in the closet and seeing all the clothes my fat ass can't get into sure does motivate me. Ack!

Hang in there. =)

Is getting another trainer feasible? That sounds like the key. I'm about the least self-motivated person I know-- when I get things done it's by making sure I have overseers.
