Aug. 6th, 2002 02:37 pmdreamt that i was going to a big rave type thing with a group of friends. had a filet-o-fish meal before. dave chia was talking about a time when he and somebody else had been somehow talking about filet-o-fish and a sexy girl when i came in with one...
to get to the party you had to cross a body of water, and if you didn't have your own rowboat you had to swim. i was really pissed off b/c nobody had told me where we were going, so i wasn't prepared and got all soaking wet with no change of clothes.
the place was kind of in the woods on this island. there was a long winding line approaching it. the tickets were huge, like almost 8.5"x11", and we had to sign both parts of it and there had to be a previously procured validation stamp that was UV-viewable. as we went in there was a line of food tables. i stopped to try a middle-eastern sort of mango ball thing in a chunky cream sauce. we had lost russell b/c he went ahead and didn't notice we'd stopped at the food. cara (friend of lamont, et al) was there. went into the main room and it was this irregularly shaped place with a low ceiling and with plastic folding chairs set up. the perimeter of the room was marked by hanging sheets of clear plastic. we were pretty early, so it was fairly empty. this room was well-lighted. i was looking for my friends but couldn't see them, so i went into the room off to the right, which was also very irregularly shaped, but narrower and longer, kind of winding. this room was fairly dark and had a bunch of people dressed like biker gangs who were working the event, just providing character. then i think i woke up.
