desert happiness

went to desert party over the weekend and had an absolutely amazing time. it felt like i really got it for the first time, had a wonderful experience with the music and the sunrise and everything. pld was supposed to come (or at least we were going to try to get him to), but he was stressed out among other things, so he didn't make it, but he did give me some smurf houses, for which i am incredibly grateful, because they contributed to a great and wonderful experience... and the party was in an incredibly beautiful location in the mojave called "moonhenge" where there are all these giant granite boulders lying around that must have been thrown from the big eruption in mammoth or something, huge sierra granite boulders sitting around in the middle of the desert. the dawn was amazingly beautiful, and the desert was amazingly beautiful, and geoff and i took a walk in the morning to explore the rocks and i was just so overwhelmed by how beautiful the scenery was, i could hardly stand it!

anyway, i'm in better spirits lately, less irritable and a bit easier to get along with, not quite so prone to flipping out at the slightest provocation. nice weather and more physical activity greatly help. i'm looking forward to being all healthy and in decent shape at some point.
