into the void

jobhunting is such a demoralizing process... sending resume after resume off into the great black void, never to be heard from again. and i'm so awfully bad at writing cover letters. what am i supposed to say in a few sentences that will somehow convince the people on the other end to stop and actually consider my little application, what will catch their eye? i'm no good at selling myself.

i ordered an extra battery for my digital camera almost two weeks ago, and they haven't shipped it yet, despite the website claiming that they have over 700 in stock and it normally ships in 1-2 days. not only that, but they charged my credit card twice, once for the price without shipping and once with. mailordering stuff is a real pain in the keister.
