of course as soon as i make a commitment to a new routine and get back into the gym, i get sick. at least it's just a mild sick (so far), and i can work from home (yay money!). i will try to go to the gym tomorrow.

weekend was nice. geoff came back from business in LA, and we went on a hornblower dinner cruise friday night. saturday picnic in the park with brittany and pup, then improvised drinking ping pong using the wood counter piece we used to have on top of the washer/dryer at our old place. (immature much? eh, it was fun.) sunday we went to shoreline links golf range. it was the first time i've ever really tried to hit golf balls at all (besides putt-putt), and i was pleased to discover that i don't completely suck. golf might actually be a entertaining activity. also, it made me quite sore. then there was vacuuming, woo.

now, geoff is back in LA for the week, and we are both with the sick. hopefully i will be up for climbing by thursday.
