so i am sick. again. this is getting monumentally preposterous. every time i don't get enough sleep, BAM! instasick. it has been recommended that i see a doctor, but really, what would they say? they would just shrug and give me some antibiotics. although maybe it really is smth that's hanging around and keeps resurfacing whenever i have a weak moment... it seems rather unlikely to me, but who knows.
yesterday i was pretty up. post office finally processed my check and started delivering my mail again. had a really good cardio session. was at ironworks, which is always more entertaining than the news and sports they have on at 24hr. (they have 5 televisions, you'd think they'd be able to have at least one with something actually entertaining on it.) ran into jhjelt and chatted with him for awhile which made the time go pretty fast.
as per the commitment i made with fran in the afternoon, i started in on my paperwork after dinner. went through some piles and sorted stuff, couldn't find 3 bank statements from 2001, didn't actually get to the point of being able to enter any data. at least it was a start?
today i didn't do much of anything. tried to sleep in with horrible noise everywhere. they're still tearing apart the walls in the apt next to me, which involves all kinds of hammering and banging and prying, and there was yardwork right outside my window too. some nyquil helped a little. this is just not a nice place to be home during the day right now.
went to look at the apt that sounded perfect, but it was far far from it, which is just as well since i'm not really prepared to try to get an apartment yet, with no job yet and all. i felt i had to go see it though, just to know... then geoff and i got to go get treated to dinner at chez panisse cafe by a couple of his home computer clients, which was quite nice.
and now i've got to go to bed so i can get some good sleep in before the noise starts in the morning. and hopefully this installment of sickness will be quick to depart. alas no climbing for me tomorrow. maybe i'll feel up to some cardio though. oof.

however a doctor might want to run blood tests. a reincurring illness can be a sign of diabetes.
i'm not sure why you are so incredibly stubborn about this, but you may just have, for whatever reason, a vitamin or mineral defficiency that is weakening your immune system.
i mean, you may have nothing, but wouldn't it be nice to know?

i'm not sure that you necessarily *know* if you have a vitamine or mineral difficiency - you may not have the enzymes to break somethign down.
