i would just like to say that style sheets and all that crap make it really hard for me to find cool colours i like on webpages and steal them. i need a nice easy way to pick colours. i never manage to get just what i want out of the big circles or squares or whatnot. i just want a great big list of example colours and what their values are. maybe i'll look for such a thing if i ever have a free moment again.

getting up early sucks bigtime. it would suck less if i could actually manage to get to bed at a reasonable time. ugh.

ask elf about it sometime, she has entire books about color and color theory. I know she usually uses Pantone books to pick colors, but they're expensive and more suited to print work. she might have more pointers on web color charts...

OS X has a little app that tells you what colour value is underneath the cursor. What OS are you running? You might be able to find something similar...
